Leo Man, DDS

Dr. Leo Man uses his expertise to improve the smiles of those around him, advancing his knowledge to better serve his patients. He first started his education in Australia, completing courses from a school of nursing in 2005. After working in oncology and in a post-operative unit, he came to the United States to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, eventually graduating cum laude. He then went on to attend Loma Linda University for dental school.

Since becoming a dentist, Dr. Man has completed an additional 500 hours of continuing education. Of those hours, 300 were dedicated to completing an implant MaxiCourse® in 2016 over the course of nine months. After this training was completed, Dr. Man traveled to Cancun, Mexico, to attend further training. Also, in 2016, he completed his intravenous sedation training and license. The previous year, Dr. Man completed his endodontic training at the University of Southern California. Since then, he has performed root canals for over 500 patients.

Dr. Man is dedicated to serving others, working as clinical director of btyDENTAL Group in Anchorage, Alaska, and training graduate students in the extraction of third molars, root canals and IV sedation. In 2016, he also had the opportunity to serve on a mission trip, performing over 1000 teeth extractions for the people of the Philippines.

Dr. Man and his wife live in Riverside and have two children — a son, Chris, and a daughter, Joy. In his off-time, Dr. Man loves training and playing badminton.

 

Kevin Wu, DMD

Dr. Kevin Wu graduated in 2016 from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in biology. In 2016, Dr. Wu attended Boston University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with magna cum laude honors.

Dr. Wu believes in comprehensive dental care as a method of improving all aspects of oral and general health. He believes in staying current on dental research to provide the best and most up-to-date care for his patients. He attends multiple conferences, courses and seminars throughout the country to bring the best care to his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Wu likes to travel to different countries to experience different cultures, work out and try new restaurants.

Dr. Wu believes in the importance of giving back to his community and has volunteered in multiple organizations. In his time in San Diego, he was a manager of the UCSD free dental clinics and regularly volunteered with health clinics in Mexico. He has spent time with the navy in Indonesia and Malaysia on the USS Mercy to provide relief to areas of need. He has volunteered in Peru to help build infrastructure and provide relief to communities of need.

 

Kevin Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Kevin H. Nguyen

Dr. Kevin H. Nguyen graduated in 2017 from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. There, Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science in biology with magna cum laude honors in the school’s accelerated pre-dental program. Dr. Nguyen achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2020 from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

Dr. Nguyen is passionate about comprehensive, conservative dentistry. He continues to supplement his experience with dental conferences and advanced training, including continuing education courses in root canal therapy, bone augmentation and implant surgeries.

Dr. Nguyen believes in giving back to the community. While in San Francisco, Dr. Nguyen was awarded his school’s Community Health Award for organizing dental screening events in partnership with the Salvation Army to provide preventive services. Following this, Dr. Nguyen attended community outreach events to provide dental care to underserved communities.

Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys exploring new cafés and restaurants with friends and family. Dr. Nguyen is also an avid tennis and pickleball player.
